Dr. Auda is currently professor emeritus of
political science at Cairo University. He is a
prominent specialist on African politics and
Egyptian-African Affairs.
Education
Expertise:
Dr. Auda served as dean of the Faculty
of Economics and Political Science at Cairo
University (1980-1981), dean of the African Research
Institute at Cairo University (1981), and dean of
the Faculty of Communications at Cairo University
(1974-1977). He was visiting professor to Indian
University, U.S.A. (1964-1965) and to SUNY, U.S.A.
(1978-1979). He was executive secretary of the Arab
League's Technical Arab Fund to African States
(1976-1978).
Dr. Auda was also managing editor of Al-Siyassa Al-Dawliya
(1965-1979) and director of Al-Ahram Center for
Political and Strategic Studies (1974).
